KDAZ Contest Rules
- Each Contest is open to all KDAZ listeners in the
United States, provided that there are no age restrictions based upon the
contest type, participating agency or advertiser, or the law.
- Calls coming into KDAZ may be taped and aired on KDAZ.
Winners agree to allow KDAZ to tape and/or announce his or her name on the
air.
- KDAZ is not responsible for any telephone system
malfunction that may occur, thus possibly reducing or increasing one’s
chance of winning a phone-in contest. Should two people call in at the same
time and the lines are tied together during a contest, the tied callers will
not qualify, thus opening an opportunity for another caller.
- Employees, agents, and family members of Pan American
Broadcasting Company (Z73 & Son Broadcasting Network), as well as
advertising agencies representing Pan American Broadcasting Co. are
ineligible to enter KDAZ contests.
- Winners will not be able to request substitutions for
the awarded prize. In the event that the original prize won is unavailable,
winner will be awarded with a prize of equal or greater value.
- All prizes will be mailed within 10 days, unless
winner is from the Albuquerque area. In such cases, winner can come to the
station within the same 10-day period. Failure to pick up the prize within
the allotted time will result in default and the allotted prize will be
placed back in the possession of KDAZ.
- All entrants must provide information that is truthful
in all contest entries. KDAZ reserves the right to disqualify any entry
that KDAZ determines to be false. KDAZ reserves the right to revoke prizes
should the winner fail to meet any or all eligibility requirements, even if
an announcement has already been made concerning the winner.
- KDAZ is not held liable or responsible for prizes
awarded to an event that is canceled due to circumstances beyond the control
of KDAZ.
- KDAZ, its agency, and representatives, will not be
held liable for any claims, injury or damage from any KDAZ contest or prizes
rewarded in a contest and will be held harmless in the event of any lawsuits
or disputes that may arise from such contests as described here. KDAZ
reserves the right to withhold any or all contest entry materials for any
reason station management deems crucial to contest’s completion. (All
contest entries become the property of KDAZ).
- KDAZ will meet all of its necessary obligations for
providing winners of prizes exceeding $600 by completing appropriate
documentation governed by city, state, and federal requirements. All taxes
(local, state and federal) are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- The decision of KDAZ will be final in the case of any
dispute about any contest. Furthermore, KDAZ reserves all rights,
privileges, and authority to finalize, revoke, and cancel any and all
contests as it deems necessary.
